Build
Beast Mastery runs on the pet: in Forever it inherits part of your stats and grows with you. Summon Hawk unlocks at level 25 (20 with Legacy points): a hawk attacks your targets for 18 seconds, and two can be active at once. It shares a cooldown with Arcane Shot.
TipStats according to Icy Veins: weapon damage first — a slow weapon is better, since Aimed Shot is based on weapon damage. Then hit, Agility and crit: the pet inherits your crit chance. Bestial Wrath needs 31 points in the tree, so it is out of reach before launch.

Both Icy Veins and Wowhead take these talents. Three points differ: Icy Veins adds a second point in Pathfinding (a faster Aspect of the Cheetah) and Endurance Training, Wowhead one point in Pathfinding and Focused Fire: more damage while your pet is out. With the five points of the Legacy Talented perk, both add the same: Ferocity to 5, Bestial Discipline 2 and Frenzy 1.

Which spec to level
Level Beast Mastery. Warcraft Tavern, Mobalytics and Icy Veins agree here: the talents strengthen the pet, it lives longer and holds threat, and you hardly stop to rest. In the leveling tier list it is S.

Icy Veins order (updated Oct 17). Mobalytics (Oct 18) takes the same talents up to level 30 in a different order. Levels 31–60 are closed on the beta: this is the source’s plan, and we will check it after the Nov 4–5 launch.

TipThe Legacy Talented perk gives talents up to 5 levels earlier: the order is the same. According to Mobalytics, Summon Hawk lets you keep two hawks at once.
Who to group with
Aspect of the Pack speeds up the group on the road, but dazes anyone the enemy hits (Warcraft Tavern). Turn it off in combat.
Build the group in the group builder: up to 5, 10, 20 or 40 players, with a link and a text for looking for a group.
BiS · after launch
The best level 60 gear will appear after the Nov 5 launch. The beta only went up to level 30, and Forever’s level 60 items are not known yet. We will add the list from the game’s data.
Rotation · after launch
The level 60 rotation will come after the Nov 5 launch. For now this is the level 30 order of actions from the beta, as given by Icy Veins and Wowhead.

Hunter’s Mark; the pet attacks first.

Once the pet has the target.

On cooldown; keep two hawks out.

On cooldown; Multi-Shot instead against a group.
