Dungeons by level
All 35 dungeons, 9 of them new. Levels are from Warcraft Tavern, Sportskeeda gives the same. Where other sites list a different range, it is shown in small print. Blizzard has not published hard level limits.

Most dungeon experience comes from its quest chains, repeat runs give noticeably less. Every item that drops unlocks its appearance for everyone in the group who can wear it. Blizzard promises two more dungeons in spring and two in summer.

- 01Barrow Deeps

- 02Hyjal Summit

Completing each of these raids gives one Legacy point.
PvP
- 01Darkspear Islands
New 15v15 battleground off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh.
- 02Ranks and Honor
Ranks with a weekly limit, gear upgrades for Honor, seasonal Legacy goals.
Group composition
- 01Dungeons for 5
Dungeons are designed for 5 players: a tank, a healer and three damage dealers.
- 02Raids for 10, 20 and 40
If your own group is smaller, the rest are filled from a guild.
- 03Who tanks and heals
Warriors, Paladins and Druids can tank; Paladins, Priests, Shamans and Druids can heal.
- 04Paladin and Druid
Paladins and Druids can do all three roles. They are the most flexible classes when players are few.
- 05Class buffs
Groups and raids receive class buffs: Kings from the paladin, shaman totems, the warrior’s Battle Shout, hunter and druid auras. Portals, food and water come from the mage.
TipHunters and Warlocks have it easiest, their pet holds the enemy. Paladins and Druids are also sturdy and can fill any role in a dungeon.
TipMake sure at least one of you can tank or heal (Warrior, Paladin, Druid, Priest, Shaman), and fill the dungeon group up to five.
TipA tank, a healer and three damage dealers, for example Warrior, Priest, Mage, Hunter and Rogue.
TipTwo dungeon groups, each needs its own tank and healer. Hybrids are especially valuable here: Paladin, Druid, Shaman.
TipEnough for the 10-player Barrow Deeps raid: two tanks, two or three healers, the rest on damage.
TipTake different classes: buffs of different classes stack, while identical ones overlap. Someone in the group takes Cooking for a campfire with 10 objects, the others pick professions for camp buffs.
Leveling together
- 01Class pace
By forecasts, Hunter and Mage level fastest (about 8% faster than average), Warrior slowest (about 12%), Druid and Priest slightly slower than average. These are beta estimates, the figures may change.
- 02No level scaling
Dungeons are for their own levels, and you cannot run them by “pulling up” a weaker friend.
- 03Save up rest
The bedroll, Well Rested and food with an experience bonus stack.
- 04Camp while leveling
You can set up camp right while leveling; five minutes for a campfire pays off with buffs for the group.
TipFrom 4 November to 9 December, level up together through dungeons, and decide in advance who plays which class so you do not duplicate.
